dC2enlightenment attempts to try and bring to bear these values regarding the radio spectrum and the technologies using it for telecommunication purposes.

Interested readers may be those involved in radio spectrum engineering and network planning, from markets spanning national regulators, network operators, equipment vendors, system integrators and consultants.

The endeavour of dC2enlightenment is to bring clear thinking to the planning and evaluation of radiocommunication services.

The content is the creation of Cyprien de Cosson who has for over 25 years been developing and practising planning methods for many different services, from mass-market technologies in public mobile radio, through to obscure systems in use by the military. Cyprien’s experience started in the design and manufacture of radio communication equipment and antenna systems, along with laboratory and field experience to measure system performance and verify design, before moving into spectrum planning and related consultancy. 

The blog is an attempt to bring many experiences  together to produce intelligent observations on selected topics, often including downloadable practical examples which can be taken away and used freely by the reader to promote thinking and foster experimentation.
